A nice post for  a change (and a post focusing on the reason I started this blog in the first place so long ago!)

Join Glasgow Life Museums for a special Autism friendly morning at Kelvin Hall. Discover some of the fascinating objects in our handling kits and learn about their history, or find out about some of the weird and wonderful chairs we have in our collection and have a go at making your own chair to take away.

Activity Sessions 10am – 12pm

Drop in, free.

Play n’ Climb

Our Soft Play and Climbing sessions will run with reduced capacity, and no music or  flashing lights.  These sessions will be paid as normal.

National Library of Scotland

The National Library’s access centre will be open to all with reduced sound and light levels. The 12 screen video wall and curated touchscreen apps are easy to use to look at film highlights from the collections. Private viewing rooms will be available for browsing the moving image archive and the Library’s digital collections. A quiet reading room will also be available.

Drop in, free.

There is also a quiet room located just past the Sports Halls in the avenue which is always available. Kelvin Hall also has a Changing Places toilet.

To help prepare for your visit the Kelvin Hall Visual Story can be found here.

I'm heading along with (some of) my brood so expect a review to follow!
