Karma.

 Just a quick post to cheer up your day.

Was getting the train to college with Cass this morning (as I always do) and it was surprisingly busy, no seats together except on the triple/table seats which as luck would have it, is where Cassidy likes to sit.

True there was a guy sitting there but it still left 5 seats.

Or it would have if he hadn't spread his bags across the 2 seats next to him and laid his jacket out on the other side. 

Obviously Cass went to sit down where the jacket was as the guy loudly tutted, then sighed and finally lifted his coat.

And all whilst glaring intensely at Cassidy.

Who blatantly ignored him. 

A man on a train for illustrative purposes.

 

This failed (and frankly embarrassing) attempt to intimidate Cass seemed to make the guy angrier and as I politely said "Thanks so much for moving your coat, he absolutely loves this seat and tries to get it everyday!" whilst making sure Cassidy's Sunflower lanyard was on show he just stared the pair of us down as he methodically packed his 3(!) laptops into his bag before unplugging his 2(!) phones - tutting loudly as Cassidy's leg had brushed against him as he lent over to get them - before packing them away, pausing only to take another phone out of his pocket, prod it angrily then stand up and storm off to the back of the train.

Obviously Cassidy was oblivious to the drama which made it so much harder for me not to start laughing at the totally tragic behavior I'd just witnessed.

Unfortunately this was short lived as 2 stops later he stomped towards us, glaring and staring as he attempted to get his bike off the train whilst also acting like a hard man.

Imagine my reaction then as during this display of cringe-inducing masculinity one of his laptops fell out of his bag with a crunch onto the carriage floor as he flailed about like a spoiled teenager trying to look intimidating before visibly deflating in front of us and hurrying off the train, hoping upon hope that no-one had witnessed it.

Which of course everyone had.

Karma is indeed a bitch.
