Autistic Mindset Movie Annoyances (Part 1).
In the movie Kiss Me Deadly a doomed female hitchhiker drags PI Mike Hammer into a deadly whirlpool of intrigue, murder and suspense as he tries to uncover the secrets of a mysterious package. All well and good but at no point in the film are kisses shown to be lethal.
The movie is called Seven Samurai but only six of them are actually samurai.
13 Assassins - They're not assassins but actually samurai (oh yeah and a crazy bloke who lives in a forest).
Star Trek III: The Search For Spock - They don't have to search for him, they know his body is on the Genesis planet.
Alien Resurrection - It's not the aliens that are resurrected but Ripley (and they get Fury 161's name wrong).
The very fact that Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is the sequel to Rise of
the Planet of the Apes.
Clearly, that's the wrong way around.
In any
sane sequence, "Dawn" comes before "Rise".
Assault
On Precinct 13 - The actual assault takes place on Precinct 9
(Division 13) but the sign above the door reads "Division 14".....no
wonder they never got any back-up.....no one could find them.
The
titles of all the Resident Evil movies have sod all to do with the
films.
Resident Evil Apocalypse - Only a small city is destroyed.
Resident Evil Extinction - Humanity
isn't extinct.
Resident Evil Afterlife - The characters are all still alive and not
ghosts.
The
Final Terror - Clearly, an outright lie and a wee bit boastful too
because several other terrifying situations have taken place in other
movies, many of them almost approaching finality but also more terror
filled too.
The
makers of The Last Exorcism were really taking the piss tho', it
clearly wasn't plus they had the balls to release a Last Exorcism pt
2.
Talking of last things, Last House on The left isn't actually the last house on the left but in the middle of a cul-de-sac.
Apocalypse Now! - at no point in the film does an apocalypse occur.
The Great Escape is not that great seeing as most of them get recaptured, it really should be called the fairly unsuccessful escape.
Diary of The Dead - The dead don't keep a diary in the movie, the living film maker does.
Nearly all the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park are actually from the late Cretaceous.
I'd also mention that there are no swings or roundabouts but that would be silly so I wont.
Bay Of Blood - It's not a bay it's a lake and also full of water not blood.
So, anyone else have any to add to the list?
