Had a HUGE post prepared regarding folk writing about 'the autism' and the like when they have absolutely no insight or experience of it, churning out harmful stereotypes and cliches with no thought for the hurt and harm they can cause all in the name of profit. But Ro suggested It'd be better to just ignore it and not give them the publicity. Which is fair enough. So I wont.

 Any excuse for an Arcadia reference, sorry....Anyway those of you with long memories (and short nails) may remember back in February I sent an open letter to the Scottish Government regarding Autistic families during lockdown. Surprisingly I received not one single reply.    Anyway, today we received a load of election flyers thru' the door so I've decided that if any of the parties really want my/our vote they can take a look at the letter and tell us exactly what they'll do to change things.   I'll be doing it with every candidate we get a flyer from. Updates as they happen. 

Me and Rho (Mrs Ash - not some random stranger I accosted in the street, I mean I'm still social distancing) were bored t'other night so decided to both take the Autism Spectrum Quotient online test for a giggle. Can you tell which result is which?* *There's no prize it's just for fun.
