Glasgow's annual Halloween seasoned event GlasGLOW is returning to the Botanic Gardens* from this Friday (25th) and this years fantastic feast of illumination, soundscapes and storytelling promises to be more accessible than ever. Itison, the company behind the event, have after consultation with NAS Scotland have produced a handy autism sensory guide that you can download in order to plan your trip. Similar to the visual guides available for Glasgow museums (which is brilliant in itself as we do like a wee bit of constancy) it features a fantastically easy to follow itinerary alongside useful information on how to recognize staff and what to expect from each of the events zones.  Well presented and designed it manages to be simple and succinct as well as adding a wee bit of extra excitement to what looks like a brilliant event. Expect a review (from myself and the podlings) as soon as we attend. And you can get more information here .

Unfortunately all I've found out so far is that it's big, that in 1892 the roof of a newly constructed underground tunnel collapsed trapping the workers underground and that a few survived and have been living in the tunnels ever since, feeding on the flesh of unfortunate travelers inbetween rutting away like pigs in the dark and that occasionally at night you may get attacked by a w
