Angela Sandison: Why the long face?

 

In case you can't be bothered watching the video (it's in the link) 
councillor Sandison came out with some top quality comments such as:

"Can we put in some early intervention, like with parenting skills, so... we do not have so many cases," 

And the classic:

"In a previous generation of children they'd never even heard of autism and now we've got so many."

Usually this is the point where I waxed lyrical and add some pithy albeit really sarcastic comment but frankly I'm really, really tired of all this rubbish by now so I'm just going to say Angela, get all the way to fuck. 

Then fuck off some more.

Oh and as an aside (aimed at The Greens and Lib Dems) if you're gonna attempt to pretend you're an Autism ally at least get the language right.

We don't 'live with Autism', we're Autistic.
