 Been a fair bit of music and illustration of late (sorry if that's not your bag or the thought of an Autistic peep posting non-moaning everyday stuff offends) but couldn't let Scott Walker's birthday pass without a mention. 

I discovered him as an angsty, arty teen thru' my love of Marc Almond (you can read my waxing lyrical about him in an Autistic manner here) and The Walker Brothers classic No Regrets is featured on my Autitune playlist (mainly because it's probably THE greatest song and vocal performance ever committed to vinyl....and the only pop tune that can reduce me to tears every time) but I'll post it again here (you're welcome).


Seriously tho' it's a song so perfect it actually hurts, I mean no-one should have a voice so perfect.

Anyway enough babble.

    Been a really hard few days trying to process everything regarding that incident in Leeds this week where an Autistic teen was brutally (yes really) harassed and manhandled by the police for the heinous crime of being a wee bit tipsy and saying a police officer "looked like her lesbian nana" and how it feels as an Autistic parent. It's that time of the year again where I drag this out for its annual airing. Enjoy. In those dreamy pre-Coronavirus days, I'd spend the time between drawing stuff for a living and wandering around meeting various folk to find out what they actually want me to draw (it keeps me off - well on - the streets I guess) I spend most of my time inanely blogging about films. Well Blade Runner fans we made it! Yup, the movie is no longer science fiction seeing as from today it's set right here right now. Well it;s only really right here if you're reading this in Los Angeles but you know what I mean. Anyway thought that was as good a reason as any to repost this plus if enough folk leave me nice comments it may be the boot up the arse I need to finish it. Nothing like hinting for (faint) praise is there? Well at least I'm honest. A while back I submitted an academic paper on the fun filled idea of Ridley Scott's classic Blade Runner (1982) being the most Autistic movie ever made. Yes, I know I need to get out more.
