New Term!

Well that's the summer holidays almost over and we're prepping for the new term here which is always exciting.

I'd say it's been an enjoyably lazy 12 weeks but the whole thing seems to have been taken up by hospital appointments, various meetings and attempts to organise meetings so frankly I'm knackered!

Must be old age. 

Anyway as regular(?) readers will know, Cass isn't attending this year as we're gonna be doing activities and the like with him ourselves (you can read about it here) but the girls are back at college on 2 separate courses that this year are on totally different days.

 

"Sorry the disability officer can't see you today....she's gone missing!"

 

This is the first time in 3 years that this has happened so from next week we'll be juggling taking the girls to and from college, one on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and t'other on Monday, Thursday and Friday whilst doing stuff with Cass and trying to shop, clean and (hopefully) work at the same time.

Obviously help and support from somewhere like Social Work wouldn't go amiss but due to us not doing enough already (their words) we don't deserve any.

To be fair tho' it's not just them letting us down as we've been waiting 3 years for the disability officer at the girls college to email us back too, she must be snowed under with work, poor thing. 

But until then we still have a week of meetings to go - and this time it's grown up things like housing and political-type stuff.

Yay! 

And one of the meetings we're gonna have to take all 3 kids to....
